From his professional life and working experience, Stephen has acquired skills in Capital Project Analysis, Cash flow Analysis/Management, Investment Appraisal and Analysis, Analytical Review of Financial Statements, Money & Capital Market Analysis, Reporting Financial Performance, Strategic Planning, Budgetary and Financial Forecasting. In addition, he possesses strong Financial Management Skills and a good knowledge of the International Financial Reporting Standards. Over the past sixteen (16) years, Stephen has worked with reputable Organisations. He is currently the Chief Finance Officer at Darfin Finance Company Limited. He worked for Burey Gold Limited, an Australian Exploration Company which was listed on the Australian Stock Market, as the Financial Controller and Administrative Manager for its West Africa Operations. He also worked with Clydestone Ghana Limited as the Group Financial Controller. At PZ Cussons, he was the chief Accountant and before that, he served as the Chief Finance Officer at Glico Financial Services Limited (A Subsidiary of GLICO). At Bloomsfaith & Co. Accountants (UK) he was the Financial Accountant and Training Instructor. Academically, he holds a Master of Business Administration Degree (Finance Option) from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant from The Financial Training Company also in the United Kingdom. Stephen studied at the University of Ghana, Legon and obtained a Second Class Upper Division, BA (Hons) in Economics. His research interest covers corporate governance and leadership, Financial Markets, Capital Markets and SME Development, among others. Stephen has attended several courses in Accountancy and Finance. He is currently a Financial Advisor at Aanstreet Finance, a financial planning and tax advisory firm.
