It is important to recognize the world’s needs and respond with compassion and action in desiring to leave a legacy that would outlive you. We need to leave a legacy by being committed to doing something about our world.

Many people today are walking in the middle of the road; they’re so focused on what other people think that they are unwilling to take any risks in order to make an impact in their society.

The confusion in the minds of most people is that I have done my best based on my personal circumstance. You may realize that most of us don’t think that far down the road but your actions or inactions can lead you further down the path towards your desire, attitude, teamwork and excellence with destiny, your opportunity to change things for the better.

The decision of what legacy one is leaving behind will be determined by how you react when it comes to your desire, attitude, teamwork and excellence with destiny.

It is a fact that, not everyone possesses the political leadership of Nelson Mandela of South Africa and Dr. Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana; the business sense of Bill Gates of Microsoft Corporation , Steve Jobs of Apple and Warren Buffett of Berkshire Hathaway ; or the visionary minds of Madam Theresa and Lee Kuan Yew of Singapore. But the traits that resided in these persons that allowed them to achieve greatness can be found in all of us. What allowed that greatness had little to do with “special skills.” it had to do with how they chose to face the challenges life threw at them.

Each of those men chose to embrace their desire, attitude, teamwork and excellence with destiny rather than shy away from it. They had the Desire to achieve their dreams, an Attitude that gave them the courage to learn from and accept their failures, an understanding that Teamwork was essential to reach their goals and the drive for Excellence that forced them to make sacrifices necessary to achieve greatness. They embodied these attributes, applied them to their lives, and in doing so, left behind or leaving behind a legacy that speaks for itself.
